RLC's Robinsons Hotels and Resorts division paid tribute to our troops through its support of the National Heroes Day Commemoration. Upon invitation of Malacañang, some 215 family members and relatives of brave soldiers who were killed in the line of duty defending Marawi were invited to memorial ceremonies at the Libingan ng mga Bayani. Go Hotels Mandaluyong hosted families who had come for the memorial ceremonies by providing free accommodation.
RLC also participated in the International Coastal Clean-up in the Las PiñasParañaque Critical Habitat and EcoTourism Area (LLPCHEA) in coordination with Ocean Conservancy International and Department of Natural Resources (DENR). The coastal clean-up and the enhancement planting was undertaken as a concrete response to the increasing debris and trash in waterways.
It also continued its reforestation project in Kaliwa River Watershed, Tanay Rizal in support of the National Greening Program (NGP) of Department of Environment and Natural Resources. The initiative aims to enhance 5 hectares of forest area for 3 years, planting a total of 3,000 indigenous seedlings, bringing back the ecological functions of Kaliwa River Watershed and providing livelihood opportunities to the local community.
RLC supported the construction improvement of St. Joseph the Worker Parish in Capas, Tarlac through donations. The church serves an estimate of 2,000 households from barangays Cutcut I and II.
