Supporting Gapan city government’s efforts in building the capabilities of its poor and vulnerable households and communities, RLove launched RSikap, a banner program of Robinsons Land Foundation promoting sustainable livelihood, and donated RLove Livelihood Carts to 8 beneficiaries from the city’s disadvantaged households.

Following the destruction of more than 60 homes by the deadly blaze that hit Brgy. Carreta Cebu on January 6, 2024, RLove intensified its relief assistance to the fire-incident affected families that were left homeless through the donation of additional modular tents.

Responding to the challenges of this IP community, RLove, in partnership with Robinsons Gensan and TESDA, launched RSikap, Robinsons Land Foundation’s livelihood assistance program, and donated raw materials such as threads and beads that enabled the weavers to continue their craft and sustain their livelihood.

RLC's office building, Giga Tower, adds to the list of OBD's LEED-certified buildings. Providing Assistance to Residents Located in one of the most affected provinces, Azalea Place and AmiSa Private Residences in Cebu suffered damages from the typhoon’s onslaught, significantly affecting the development and the lives of its residents and employees. The Philippines has always been hailed as one of the countries embracing gender equality. This initiative aims to address these disparities by creating a workplace where women are given equal opportunities.

Robinsons Land's ArtAblado recently concluded its year-ender offering, the ChristmaSAYA Christmas Card Competition which was opened to children aged 6 to 12 years.  This year's Christmas Card Making art completion garnered 60 entries, each depicting their personal experience of Christmas amidst the pandemic.  “Each entry shows the child's memories of Christmas spent in Robinsons Malls, pre-pandemic and how they cherish this wonderful memory,” says Roseann C. Robinsons Malls has partnered with the Department of Health (DOH), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Department of Information and Communications Technology (DITC) in implementing the VaxCertPh program, a portal for the issuance of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) vaccination certificates to fully inoculated overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and Filipinos going abroad.

As part of its advocacy to promote bike education and bike safety, Robinsons Malls, in coordination with the National Bicycle Organization (NBO), recently donated 25 sets of uniforms to the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) bike patrol officers. LGUs are now gearing up for the government's roll out initiatives for COVID-19 Vaccination. Two cities, the City of Imus and the City of Tuguegarao have partnered with Robinsons Malls to smoothly conduct these simulation activities. 

To cater the needs of its shoppers and the commuting public, Robinsons Place Manila in partnership with the Local Government of Manila City recently launched its "ETRIKES sa Kamaynilaan" services that the general public can use as an additional mode of transportation.

To integrate this into the company's operations, RLC installed off-grid rooftop solar PV (photovoltaic) panels in its malls nationwide. RLC recognizes the importance of intelligent use of water resources. Through Robinsons Galleria Cebu, RLove extended assistance to the teachers of Carreta Elementary School in Cebu by providing a 20 square meter space used as a compilation center for module preparation to support the shift to modular distance learning. 

RLove is committed to preserve the environment and to take action to minimize RLC's environmental footprint. In line with this, Robinsons Malls General Trias and Las Pinas partnered with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) for the Solid Waste Management Project. A solid waste management scheme was implemented to turn residual plastics into useable items such as garbage bins, chairs, and tables.

Robinsons Malls supports the move towards a more sustainable public transport system through the establishment of a modernized jeepney terminal at Robinsons Forum. Executed in partnership with the Mandaluyong Transport Service Cooperative (MTSC), the terminal services modern jeepneys that use Euro 4 Diesel Engines designed for cleaner emissions that help minimize air pollution.

The ongoing pandemic has likewise had profound implications on public health, nutrition, and food security. In response to these unprecedented challenges, RLove launched several relief operations to provide communities with much needed food and hygiene supplies.

In times of crises that impact jobs and livelihoods, immediate aid and support make a huge difference in helping alleviate the struggles of disadvantaged populations. This year, RLove actively took part in extending emergency assistance to address the most urgent humanitarian needs in light of natural calamities and the global pandemic. A total of 62 relief operations were organized in coordination with respective local and provincial government units of various communities.

With the Bicol region recently devastated by super typhoon Rolly, RLC R Love, together with  the Gokongwei  Brothers Foundation and Robinsons Bank joined forces  extending a helping hand to  affected barangays in Naga.  Leading the relief operations in 12 barangays were the brave and gallant employees of Robinsons Place Naga.  Over two thousand families received relief packs containing medical and hygiene kits, food and water. Also present to during the relief operation were Mayor Nelson Legacion and CSWDO head Ms. Anabel Vargas.

Going out—whether to buy necessities, to eat out with friends or loved ones, or simply to get to work—hasn’t been as easy or convenient as it once was since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.

The Gokongwei Brothers Foundation (GBF) today announced the establishment of a P100 million fund to help fight the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country. The fund earmarked by GBF is over and above the ongoing initiatives that the various companies under the Gokongwei Group, one of the largest and highly diversified conglomerates in the country, are spearheading on their own.

Robinsons Malls makes business transactions for its customers even more convenient and accessible as it recently opened its second branch of Quezon City Business Center in Robinsons Galleria's Lingkod Pinoy Center.  The first  branch is located in Robinsons Novaliches and another will soon open in Robinsons Magnolia.

And Robinsons Land Artablado, through its first national art competition, hopes to bring out every Filipino's capacity to create masterpieces that can be shared to the world.

RLove actively participates in the Department of Education's Brigada Eskwela project and "Adopt-A-School" program that caters to over 82,000 public school students. In 2019, RLC assisted 54 public schools located in 24 different provinces and cities across the country in improving classrooms and common areas. Activities include repainting of classrooms, repairing of school furniture, and donation of audio-visual equipment and information to aid the children's learning.

Robinsons Malls Iloilo partnered with the local government and the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO Iloilo) for "Bote Ko, Palit Ko", an eco-brick project that champions the adoption of the Alternative Recycling Technology (ART) through plastic bottle redemption activities. The campaign targeted schools and universities, including mall customers who donated collated plastic bottles or "trash in a bottle" in exchange for eco-friendly items from the mall. Collected plastic bottles were used to create planter boxes, and low non-load bearing walls for schools.

The Robinsons Malls Recycling Market and Shoot Your PET Bottles project provide waste-recovery systems through a once-a-month recyclable-buying fair involving Robinsons tenants, customers, other business establishments, schools, religious groups, and city residents. The project aims to instill environmental stewardship amongst city residents and businesses, while providing additional income to households and organizations. Through this project, waste-to-landfill diversion is achieved through segregation campaigns, recycling practices, and the trash-for-cash incentive mechanism.

RLC reached out to disaster victims through Robinsons Malls relief operations. Seeing the need to lift the Filipino spirit amidst calamities and disasters, RLove through Robinsons Malls was able to provide emergency assistance to affected communities with the help of their respective Provincial Disaster and Risk Reduction Management Resiliency Office. RLove relief food packs were distributed in evacuation centers, and through door-to-door efforts to reach all calamity-stricken families.

To service the needs of the marginalized sectors, including persons with disabilities and diseases, the program donated resources for daily essentials, support therapies, and medicines. This year, the program served The Hansen Lepers Association of Cebu to empower people diagnosed with Hansen disease to overcome their limitations and to navigate opportunities for a better life.

Seeing the need to boost the Filipino spirit amidst calamities and disasters, RLove through Robinsons Malls was able to provide communities emergency assistance in coordination with their respective Provincial Disaster and Risk Reduction Management Resiliency Offices. RLove relief food packs were distributed either in evacuation centers or directly to the victims’ homes. Construction materials were also donated for home reconstruction to help those affected rebuild.

RLove actively participates in the Department of Education's Brigada Eskwela project and Adopt-A-School program with over 74,000 public school students benefitting from this partnership. In 2018, RLC assisted 42 public schools across the country. RLove was also involved in the upgrading of several public-school classrooms located across 24 different sites. These upgrades include repainting of classrooms and donation of audio-visual equipment and other items to aid the children's learning.

RLC cares deeply about the environment and protects it in many aspects. Various malls partnered with their local government hosts in promoting environmental projects. Robinsons Place Palawan participated in the International Coastal Clean-up, Pista Y ang Kagueban (Feast of the Forest) and Balayong Festival, commemorating the founding anniversary of the City of Puerto Princesa highlighted by balayong tree-planting. Robinsons Place Roxas and Robinsons Place Iligan supported the tree planting and forest enhancement in Camp Candida Timpas and in Ditucalan Watershed, respectively.

RLC through its Robinsons Hotels and Resorts Division launches, "R-Love Soap for Hope" project, an initiative to recover, recycle, re-process and donate used bar soaps to local communities. The project's objectives are three-fold: to provide a means of livelihood for local communities through teaching a new skill; to help hotels reduce waste by recycling used or discarded soap and eventually to save lives by promoting a cleaner and healthier environment through provision of a cheaper alternative soap. In 2018, a total of 200 Kg of Soap were reprocessed and donated.

The year 2017 marked the beginning of the partnership between Robinsons Malls and "TV Patrol", the flagship national network news broadcast of ABS-CBN in the Philippines, for various projects and activities. Titled "TV Patrol Caravan", the team of ABS-CBN visited several Robinsons Malls from all over the Philippines and conducted educational programs for the benefit of the public. Part of their projects was the Job Fair attended by over 15,000 Filipinos to apply to different companies.

Recognizing the rights and the needs of the marginal sector of our society, including persons with disabilities and abandoned children, the program donated resources for daily provisions, support therapies and medicines. This year, the program served Bahay San Jose Foundation- House with No Steps, Alay sa may Kapansanan Inc., and Mother Teresa Spinelli’s Treasures, aiming to help beneficiaries overcome their limitations and provide access to opportunities for a better life.

Robinsons Land's Hotels and Resorts division is proud to renew its commitment and support to Caritas Manila's Youth Leadership & Education Program (YSLEP) through the Segunda Mana program. Through this donation-in-kind program, items which are no longer being used in the Summit Hotels and Go Hotels branches are donated to YSLEP so that they can be sold.

RLC understands the value of energy management to promote sustainable growth for the organization and has embarked on a renewable energy program to install off-grid rooftop solar PV (photo voltaic) panels on feasible malls nationwide. This demonstrates RLC's commitment to help protect the environment from the adverse effects of carbon emissions and its aim to be an industry leader in efficient energy use alongside its other energy conservation and efficiency programs.

RLC recognizes the importance of the intelligent use of water resources. Through this program, wastewater is treated, filtered and reused, leading to zero wastewater discharge to public sewer. Several RLC hotels and malls now use 100% recycled wastewater for their toilets and irrigation requirements. Good water quality is ensured through monthly testing by RLC's Corporate Laboratory which is accredited by DENR and recognized by DOH. In addition to this, several malls collect rainwater for the mall's use.

RLC's Robinsons Hotels and Resorts division paid tribute to our troops through its support of the National Heroes Day Commemoration. Upon invitation of Malacañang, some 215 family members and relatives of brave soldiers who were killed in the line of duty defending Marawi were invited to memorial ceremonies at the Libingan ng mga Bayani. Go Hotels Mandaluyong hosted families who had come for the memorial ceremonies by providing free accommodation.

Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC), through its Robinsons "RLove" corporate social responsibility (CSR) program, actively participated in the International Coastal Clean-up in Las Pinas-Paranaque Critical Habitat and Eco-Tourism Area (LLPCHEA). Volunteers from different RLC Business Units were guided by Department of Environment and Natural Resources- River Basin Control Office in the collection, sorting and measuring of the 9 identified categories of waste, covering 100 meters of LPPCHEA- Freedom and Long Island coastal area.

RLove actively participated in the Department of Education's Brigada eskwela program in 2016 with over 25,000 public school students benefitting from this partnership. RLC visited public schools located in Quezon City, Pasig, Rizal, Pangasinan, Tarlac, Cavite, Batangas and Roxas to help upgrade several public school classrooms located in 8 different sites. This included the repainting of classrooms and construction of hand-wash areas. RLC Employees also initiated an Rlove Christmas toy Drive, collecting both in-kind and monetary donations.

The Rlove Water for life helps residents in urban and rural poor communities by providing deep well/ water hand pumps that enable them to have a regular potable water supply. Through the project, 100 families from resettlement and urban poor communities in Brgy. Malpitic, Brgy. San Agustin,

During typhoons Karen and Lawin, Robinsons Malls conducted relief operations in the Pangasinan, Ilocos Norte and Cagayan provinces.

Robinsons Town Mall Malabon partnered with the City of Malabon to sponsor its Supplemental Feeding Intervention program. A 120 day feeding program was initiated through the mayor's office to 3 barangays identified with high cases of underweight children. From the 100 children enrolled in the intervention in Brgy. Catmon who fell under the malnourished and stunted classification and were monitored weekly, 98% had reached the normal weight category upon graduation in December 2016.

RLC secured the Leader ship in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold Core & Shell building Certification for Tera Tower, its office building in the Bridgetowne mixed-use development. The building was constructed incorporating energy efficient measures such as efficient glazing, lighting power reduction, a Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) system and low powered indoor unit fans which result to lower energy consumption. For Tera Tower, this translates to 37,613 trees planted and 1,467 tons of carbon dioxide avoided.

Go Hotels and Summit Hotels and Resorts, under Robinsons Land's Hotels and Resorts division, are proud to commit their support to Caritas Manila's Youth Leadership & Education Program (YSLEP). YSLEP provides financial and scholastic assistance to scholars and trains and hones the youth to be exemplary in academic, social and spiritual aspects. YSLEP is sustained through various activities, one of which is Segunda Mana, the donations-in-kind program of Caritas Manila. Proceeds from Segunda Mana are channeled to YSLEP to provide further fi nancial assistance to their students.

Robinsons Malls is on track with its vaccination drive and efforts to assist local governments to curb the spread of COVID-19. To date, thousands of frontliners, medical health workers, Barangay Health Workers, Barangay Health Emergency Response teams, Barangay Nutrition Scholars, and Senior Citizens have been inoculated.  

With the endeavor to reduce the transmission of COVID-19 virus and mitigate its impact, Robinsons Land Corporation and Philippine Red Cross (PCR) enter into a partnership agreement to setup twenty (20) Saliva Drive-Thru Collection Sites for RT-PCR Testing in various Robinsons Malls branches nationwide.  

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, many hotels around the world have been made to function far beyond their original intention, that of providing all aspects of hospitality to their guests. Today, hotels have become a safe haven, providing shelter and refuge in this time of crisis. From sheltering healthcare workers to providing additional beds for overwhelmed hospitals, hotels also serve as a "home away from home" not just for returning OFWs, but also to those who are medically considered as Persons Under Investigation and Persons Under Monitoring.  

In response to the call for donation of the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) after the fire hit their operating room's supply area, Robinsons Land Foundation Inc (RLFI) through its RLove Program and Robinsons Place Manila donated over 16,000 bottles of water to supply the immediate needs of over 300 patients.
