Robinsons Land Named to Bloomberg's Gender-Equality Index Once Again
Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) made it to the 2022 Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI), marking the second time the Company has entered the global list.
The Gokongwei-led property developer was one of only four listed companies in the Philippines included in this year’s roster, alongside over 400 other organizations headquartered in 45 countries and regions across 11 sectors. It first earned a spot in the index in 2020.
Bloomberg’s GEI recognizes companies committed to gender equality and inclusion in the workplace and community. The modified market capitalization-weighted index tracks the performance of public companies committed to transparency in gender-data reporting. It measures gender equality across five pillars: female leadership & talent pipeline, equal pay and gender pay parity, inclusive culture, anti-sexual harassment policies, and pro-women brand.
"We are honoured to be included once again in the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index. This recognition supports our commitment and progress in championing diversity, equity, and inclusion. At Robinsons Land, we are fostering an inclusive, people-driven culture that empowers all our employees to succeed, irrespective of gender. We will use the results of this year’s GEI to improve our policies and programs in ensuring balanced representation, equal opportunity and treatment, and merit-based advancement," said RLC Vice President for Human Resources, Constantino Felipe.
RLC believes that promoting diversity and gender equality in the workplace are integral to its continuous growth and expansion. "These factors drive creativity and innovation, better decision-making, and greater work satisfaction," adds Felipe.
As of end December 2021, women account for majority of Robinsons Land’s total workforce and management base. 57% of its employees are female, with women fulfilling leadership roles across all levels of management.

Robinsons Land Corporation submitted a social survey created by Bloomberg, in collaboration with subject matter experts globally. The companies included in this year’s index scored at or above the global threshold established by Bloomberg to reflect disclosure and the achievement or adoption of best-in-class statistics and policies.
Bloomberg collected data for reference purposes only. The index is not ranked. While all public companies are encouraged to disclose supplemental gender data for their company’s investment profile on the Bloomberg Terminal, those that have a market capitalization of US$1 billion are eligible for inclusion in the index.
