Robinsons Ilocos Takes Part in their LGU's Coastal Clean-Up Drive

June 05, 2024 - In celebration of World Environment Day, Robinsons Ilocos Norte joined a river Clean-up Activity organized by the Office of the Mayor of the Municipality of San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte at six o’clock in the morning.

Drawing a hundred volunteers, the clean-up drive was conducted along the Padsan River and covered three barangays: 06 San Juan Bautista, 04 San Bartolome, and 24 Sta. Monica.

Demonstrating support for the San Nicolas LGU, Robinsons Ilocos Norte employee volunteers mobilized R Kalikasan to offer assistance in the river clean-up drive. Led by Robinsons Ilocos Norte’s Mall Operations Manager Rayma Bumagat, the volunteers collected trash that have been washed from nearby dump areas to the beach. Apart from this, employees also distributed snacks to the volunteers after a hard day’s work.

Robinsons Ilocos’ support of the local government’s environmental programs demonstrates a strong commitment to achieving environmental sustainability beyond the malls of its property.
