Robinsons Logistix & Industrials Inc (RLX) Donates Trashbins to Brgy Sucat Muntinlupa

June 25, 2024 – In observance of the government’s Ecological Solid Waste Management Act which compels all barangays nationwide to conduct proper collection and segregation of solid wastes, Brgy. Sucat in Muntinlupa launched a community trash bin project to educate and enforce responsible solid waste management among its constituents (SWM) in the barangay.

Recognizing its role in promoting best practices in SWM, Robinsons Logistix and Industrials, Inc. (RLX), expressed its support for the local government of Brgy. Sucat by launching R Kalikasan, RLove’s CSR program upholding environmental sustainability.

Through R Kalikasan, RLX employee volunteers, led by Grace Samson, Head of Admin and Operations, donated raw materials such as blue plastic drums and pipes for the fabrication of two sets of garbage bins. Apart from the materials, employee volunteers went in situ to fabricate the waste collection receptacles through simple carpentry and welding.

The trash bins which feature separate containers for biodegradables, compostables and recyclables, will be installed in strategic areas in the barangay for public use and implementation of responsible SWM practices.
