Robinsons Galleria Hosts Entrep Corner Products Exhibit of Student Entrepreneurs from Trinity University of Asia
May 18-20, 2024 – Trinity University of Asia, Quezon City (TUA), in partnership with RLove, presented its annual Entrep Corner student exhibition at Robinsons Galleria in Ortigas, which ran for three days from May 18-20. It is the culmination of the university’s practicum course as well as Entrep Corner’s Orientation Seminar and Product Evaluation activity held in preparation for the actual exhibition.
TUA’s Entrep Corner at Robinsons Galleria carried the theme “Nurturing the Entrepreneurs of Tomorrow” and showcased seven (7) start-ups created by student entrepreneurs from TUA’s business and technology clusters:
Scent Heaven (perfumes and room fragrances); Astronut (artisanal peanut snacks); Tropaa (Crispy Boness Chicken Feet); DrinCo. (specialty coffee and fruit teas); Sili Savor (Flavored Chili Oils); Cookie Tree (Guilt-free cookies); and Dear Dairy (Carabao milk ice cream).
The exhibition launched on May 18 with a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by representatives of Robinsons Land Corporation and TUA: Ramon Rivero, Head of RLC’s Corporate Planning and Strategy; Huey Silo, RLC’s Corporate Social Responsibility Manager; Pong Trinidad, Dean, College of Hospitality and Tourism Management, Ferdinand Bunag, Dean, College of Engineering and Information Sciences; and Fr. Dexter Tad-awan, University Chaplain. The ceremony was followed by an opening program featuring various student performances, remarks by organization representatives and a presentation of student business pitches.
Entrep Corner is RLove’s flagship program that provides actual retail experience to students taking up entrepreneurship/business management-related courses with the aim of honing their entrepreneurial skills in a real business-simulated environment.
