R Lusog Launches 120-Day Nutri-Bread Feeding Program

Within the vicinity of Robinsons Tuguegarao, is Brgy. Tanza Day Care Center, a small barangay-run place that provides free care of infants and young children for parents who work during the day. Running with limited resources, the day care center received the support of RLove, through Robinsons Tuguegarao, which launched its flagship RLusog campaign, centered on promoting health and nutrition among RLC’s partner communities.

With the presence of Robinsons Tuguegarao’s employee volunteers, the project launched with a pilot feeding activity, attended by DSWD’s day care facilitators, parents and students. This RLusog activity is a 120-day Feeding Assistance Program that seeks to provide nutritious food to the center’s young students. Through the course of the program, 90 student participants will be given a meal set composed of RLusog Nutri-bread and a bottle of protein-rich URC-brand Vitasoy drink. The RLusog Nutri-bread is a nutritious bread exclusively formulated by Universal Robina Corporation’s Flour Division for Robinsons Land Foundation’s RLusog program.
