RGift of Health Medical Mission Serves Novaliches

On July 5, 2024 - RLove, in collaboration with Southstar Drug of Robinsons Retail Holdings, and Robinsons Novaliches, initiated the R Gift of Health (RGOH) Medical Mission in Barangay Pasong Putik. This initiative aimed to provide free medical services to those most in need.

The event took place at the Barangay Pasong Putik’s Champaca Covered Court and welcomed 200 participants, predominantly comprising senior citizens, women, and youth. Each participant received vouchers entitling them to a range of medical services, including screenings, consultations, and access to over-the-counter and prescription medications.

Medical Mission Offerings

Screenings offered at the event included Blood Pressure monitoring, Fasting Blood Sugar tests, and Cholesterol/Lipid profiling, among others. Results were reviewed by volunteer doctors who then prescribed medications tailored to each patient's health needs.

Beneficiaries utilized their prescriptions and vouchers to receive up to PHP 500 worth of free medicines from Southstar Drug's onsite mini pharmacy. Patients also had the opportunity to purchase essential prescription medications at discounted rates, based on available promotions and inventory at the pharmacy.

The event featured promotional activities by partner pharmaceutical brands, with participants receiving complimentary merchandise, vitamins, and supplements. A highlight was the RGOH photo booth, where attendees captured joyful moments during their medical mission experience.

RLove volunteers 

Supporting the initiative, volunteers from Robinsons Novaliches, led by Mall Operations Manager Alfred Cesar Conde, assisted in operations by providing meals and refreshments to volunteer staff, medical professionals, and doctors.
