RLove Participates in LGU-Led Tree-Planting Activities Across the Philippines

January–August 2025 – In line with its commitment to environmental sustainability, RLove, the corporate social responsibility arm of Robinsons Land, actively supported LGU-led tree-planting initiatives across various regions in the Philippines through its business units—Robinsons Hotels & Resorts and Robinsons Malls.

In close collaboration with local Community Environment and Natural Resources Offices (CENRO) and local government units, Robinsons properties in Puerto Princesa, Naga, General Santos, and Tuguegarao participated in multiple tree-planting activities aimed at conserving the environment and restoring local ecosystems.

 

Highlight Activities:

  • July 25, 2025 – General Santos City
    In celebration of the International Day for the Conservation of the Mangrove Ecosystem, Robinsons Malls General Santos joined a mangrove declogging and planting activity at Sarif Mucsin, Barangay Baluan, contributing to the protection and rehabilitation of vital coastal ecosystems.
  • June 2025 – Puerto Princesa City
    Go Hotels Puerto Princesa took part in Pista Y’ Ang Cagueban (Feast of the Forest), an annual reforestation event held in Barangay Montible. The activity brought together LGUs, NGOs, and private companies and successfully resulted in the planting of 10,000 Narra tree seedlings, reinforcing Palawan’s long-term sustainability efforts.
  • January 24, 2025 – Tuguegarao City
    Go Hotels Plus Tuguegarao, in partnership with DENR Region II and the Municipality of Iguig, joined the RKalikasan Tree Planting Activity in Barangay Gammad, where volunteers planted 41 Narra and 9 Ipil-Ipil trees—furthering advocacy for climate action and biodiversity.
  • August 15, 2025 – Naga City
    In partnership with CENRO Naga, Robinsons Malls Naga participated in a tree-planting activity in Panicuason, where 200 native seedlings were planted in an effort to enhance green cover and combat the effects of deforestation in the area.

These initiatives underscore RLove’s ongoing dedication to sustainability, in alignment with national environmental programs and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By working hand-in-hand with government agencies and local communities, RLove continues to promote environmental stewardship across its sites nationwide.
