Go Hotels Butuan Imparts Hygiene Kits to Children of Lingap Center Butuan

The Lingap Center of the Butuan City Social Welfare & Development has served as home for a number of neglected and abandoned children in the city of Butuan. Through the assistance of the center’s selfless social workers, children who were orphaned from their biological families are raised and cared for to help them adjust when they are transferred to their foster families. To aid in raising these children, the center runs various programs to promote their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellness. While these programs are already in place, the center still recognizes the importance of synergizing with community partners in delivering quality child care.

In response to a call for support by Lingap Center Butuan, Robinsons Hotels and Resorts, through Go Hotels Butuan initiated a donation drive in cooperation with RLove. Through this effort, hotel employee volunteers arranged a turnover activity of personal hygiene kits which consist of products such as: disinfectant alcohol, toothpaste, toothbrush, bath implements and towels– products essential in preventing illnesses and fostering self-esteem and overall wellbeing.

Robinsons Land Foundation Inc or “RLove” is Robinsons Land Corporation’s (RLC) Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm that spearheads various social welfare and development causes, with child safety and wellbeing as one of its core advocacies.
