Robinsons GenSan Join in Community Clean-Up, IEC and Basura Raffle/Barter of GenSan LGU

RLove volunteers from Robinsons GenSan trooped to Barangay Labangal in Gen. Santos City to participate in the launch of “Community Clean-Up, IEC and Garbage Raffle/Barter” organized by the Local Government Unit of General Santos City through the City Environment and Natural Resources Office. The program complements GenSan’s local ordinance on the implementation of a “City Wide Simultaneous Clean Up Drive” in accordance with Executive Order No. 12 Series 2024 and SP Resolution No. 224 Series of 2024. 

Leading the initiative is City Mayor Hon. Lorelie Geronimo-Pacquiao and ABC President and Councilor Alberto Bobby Pacquiao who joined the frontliners in cleaning and collecting garbage in Barangay Labangal. During the launch, Mayor Pacquiao also shared upcoming projects for Barangay Labangal in collaboration with Robinsons GenSan’s Leomabell W. Velandria. 

Towards the end of the clean-up drive, volunteers from the mall and the community participated in a raffle and barter of rubbish collected in exchange of household wares such as dippers, hangers and basins, among others. Each volunteer also received 2kg bags of rice which were sponsored by Robinsons Supermarket Corporation.
